Evaluation

SHERPA’s evaluation unit is an evolving division dedicated to supporting managers and practitioners in both institutional and community-based health and social services organizations.

The unit is involved in a wide range of projects, including:

  • Health and Social Care Technology and Intervention Assessment (HTA)
  • Program evaluation projects (programs, interventions, etc.)
  • Evaluative research initiatives

Comprising a multidisciplinary team of researchers, planning and programming officers (APPR), as well as evaluation assistants and students, the evaluation unit works in close collaboration with stakeholders throughout the entire evaluation process, from design and development to operationalization, data collection and analysis, and knowledge mobilization.

The practices of SHERPA’s evaluation unit adhere to the ethical and professional standards set by the Canadian Evaluation Society.
