The many research and knowledge mobilization projects undertaken by SHERPA testify to the expertise this research network has developed over the past years in its central area of focus: health and social intervention practices in multi-ethnic contexts. More than 20 years after SHERPA was founded, university researchers still work in partnership with practitioners and administrators, as well as other partner organizations, to develop innovative solutions to the changing needs of immigrant populations in Montreal, Quebec and elsewhere.
The new knowledge produced represents significant achievements for both academia and practice. These achievements are related to our researchers’ specific fields of expertise in the context of their funded projects.
