Evaluation

The SHERPA University Institute’s evaluation unit is a developing structure that supports managers and practitioners in both institutional and community health and social services establishments.

Projects can take a variety of forms:

  • Health and Social Care Technology and Intervention Assessment (HTA)
  • Program evaluation projects (projects, interventions, etc.)
  • Evaluative research projects

The evaluation unit is a multidisciplinary team made up of researchers, planning, programming and research officers (APPR), as well as several evaluation assistants and students. The unit works closely with stakeholders throughout the evaluation process (design and development, operationalization, data collection and analysis, knowledge mobilization).

The practices of SHERPA UI’s evaluation unit comply with the ethical and deontological standards of the Canadian Evaluation Society.
