In the spring of 2022, Centraide of Greater Montreal mandated the SHERPA University Institute to develop and carry out a project aimed at identifying the key competencies for equity, diversity and inclusion within community organizations, as well as the approaches for implementing them and the strategies for sustaining the gains made in the field. This project, which is the subject of this report, has three components:
- Literature reviews on key competencies, innovative practices and initiatives, andragogical approaches and implementation strategies to support EDI capacity building in community organizations.
- A consultative process involving an online questionnaire and reflection workshops.
- An Outcome Mapping and Monitoring Framework to support Centraide of Greater Montreal in evaluating its efforts to support organizations' capacity building.
